Father’s Day is coming soon in Australia – the first Sunday in September for those not sure. Whether you are a Father or not, Father’s Day is a time to reflect on what it is that makes these people great. These are the people that have worked long hours to put roofs over our heads, food in our bellies and all the other stuff that we wanted but didn’t need. Father’s Day is a time to spoil the Fathers in your life (or yourself!). To this end, I’ve put together a Father’s Day Platter of steak and five veg that anybody can put on for a touch over $50. I’ve always been a big fan of seafood and have always loved a big bowl of prawns at Christmas. I’ve also loved pineapple juice, and pancakes with maple syrup. Oh and bacon… So I was thinking why not put them all together?
