So, best laid plans of mice and men and all that…

I’d been planning to cook up something related to Easter for the March newsletter. However, I’d had to take Friday off work and then spent all weekend taking care of a sick wife and three year old.

And so it came to be that it was 6pm on a Sunday night, my wife and son were demanding dinner, and I hadn’t had a chance to get to the shops to buy the ingredients for a cook out. The Day I Ruined a Football Game…

Barbecues come in all types and fortunately, they come in all sizes, which makes them great for taking to all types of different places. This can make for some great opportunities to have some good, cheap fun outdoors.

We are fortunate enough to live in a part of the world where we have a little river running behind the house, with a bike track and about eight hundred metres up the bike track is a local football club where you can go along and sit on the grass for free and watch the games.
